What You May Do

DSQR Studio Inc grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Lastlook, free of charge, on any project you work on, commercial or otherwise. There is no limit on the number of videos you check and no charge for this tier.

Your licence key identifies you. It is issued to you and is not to be shared.

What You May Not Do

You may not copy, modify, decompile, redistribute, sublicense, resell or publish this software, in whole or in part, without prior written consent from DSQR Studio Inc. This is proprietary software provided free of charge; it is not open source, and being given a copy does not grant a right to pass it on.

Paid Tiers May Be Added, And This Tier Will Remain

DSQR Studio Inc may introduce paid tiers with additional capability. Doing so will not remove the functionality described in the panel at the version you installed. If a feature you rely on today later moves behind a payment, that is a change to a future version, and you are not obliged to install it.

Usage Details

Lastlook reports back how it is used, so that it can be improved. That includes the project and sequence name, how long a run took, which provider and model were used, the findings it produced and the subtitle text it checked, and the details of any error.

The subtitle text is what makes the checking better: it is the only way to tell a correct finding from a lucky one, and it is what the free tier is built on. It is used to improve Lastlook, and it is not sold, published or shared.

Your Own Api Key, And The Third Party Behind It

Lastlook sends subtitle text, and optionally rendered audio, to a language-model or transcription API using an API key that you supply. No key is bundled. Which provider receives that data is your choice, made in Settings, and is subject to that provider's own terms, including whether they may use free-tier input to improve their own products. See panel/engine/providers.js for the current list and the per-provider notes.

DSQR Studio Inc is not a party to your agreement with that provider.

No Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. It assists with quality control and DOES NOT REPLACE HUMAN REVIEW. It reports what it believes to be mistakes; it can miss real ones and report ones that are not there. The decision on every finding is yours.

DSQR Studio Inc accepts no liability for errors reaching a delivered edit, for any loss arising from use of this software, or for any act of the third-party API providers described above.

Ending It

You may stop using Lastlook at any time; the uninstaller is in the folder you were sent. DSQR Studio Inc may withdraw a licence key issued to someone who redistributes the software or breaches these terms.
